16 mile run from Tybee Island to Savannah was a beating for lack of a shoulder on the road as I got close to Savannah and heavy traffic going toward Tybee. There are pretty marshes in between and moss laden oak tree canopies in Savannah. Crossing the bridges was sketchy with narrow shoulders. I was going to do 18 but was fatigued from a marathon a week ago. I called my wife to come pick me up and she was not happy having to leave the beach. I stayed in the dog house the rest of the day.
