I’m glad when God saves a person He settles the matter of Eternal Life immediately. The cross dealt with every reason past, present, and future as to why we should not doubt God’s mercy toward us. He bore “our” sins in His own body. He suffered personally for each of us paying a debt that was impossible for us to pay. What’s more, He commended his love toward us while we were yet sinners. The man who in his lowest tone looks to Jesus, and ask’s for forgiveness is forgiven for all time and eternity. He is born again unto the newness of life in Christ. Christ abides with the believer, and on your worst day He will not leave or forsake you. You are secure. Jesus paid it all; the sin debt is removed!He begins to deal with us from that point as sons. He Fathers us, instructing us to walk in the paths of righteousness for His names' sake. He knows as we should know that there is nothing good in this flesh. So, when you fail in your walk don’t assume that you lost your salvation, because if you are saved you will never lose your salvation. The God that saved you will help you. Ephesians 2:8-10 tells us we are saved by grace and that we are His workmanship meaning God will be at work in our lives conforming us to His image. We have a blessed hope, not a doubtful hope!
