Many 'think' they are ready since they know certain Bible stories, and since they are 'familiar' with Church and the rituals of Christianity.Being familiar with the Bible, Church, and the language of Christians, does not equate to being a Christian.Today, the greatest sin that sends people to hell is not murder, adultery, drunkards, etc., but the people who are satisfied with being 'familiar' with God which gives them a false sense of salvation. If you are familiar with God and the Bible in the right sense then it will produce a correct view of salvation, the Bible, church, the Christian life, and your role as a Christian.If you are familiar with God and the Bible in the WRONG sense, then it will also produce a view but it will be an incorrect view of salvation, church, the Bible, and the Christian life. Knowing Jesus as your Personal Saviour means something different from knowing Jesus as a Saviour.Now, are you "Born Again" or just know the language and talk of those who are "Born Again".
