Repost I meant to share this on Halloween. However I didn’t get the chance to. I was pretty busy with appointments and family activities. Have you ever been to Wampum Underground? This is a former limestone mine in New Beaver PA. The mine was active from 1870 to 1946. There is close to 2.5 million square feet of space down there. There are many warehouses, offices, and storage locations down there. The mine stays a constant 55 degrees. The air smells of limestone The only sounds you can hear are the forklifts, trucks and cars driving around. So it’s definitely a pretty quiet place. On the other side of the mine, they have 73 miles of ATV trails. I never drove the ATV through the mine, but I think it’d be a fun experience. They even filmed a movie here. It was called Day of the Dead (1984) by George Romero. #Pennsylvania #mine #caves #photography #spooky
