But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: (Matthew 6:20 KJV)Someone once told me, “Do what you can, while you can, so when you can’t, you won’t wish you had”. I’ll admit that sometimes what we do doesn’t seem like much or that it’s even making a difference and that leads to discouragement. We are living and ministering in a time that is unlike any other time in the history of the Church. We are in days where wrong is called right and right is called wrong. We are in days where the average church member isn’t faithful and doesn’t even care that they aren’t faithful. However, this does not mean we are to give up and quit. If there’s ever a time we need to be going full throttle, it’s now. There will come a time when we’ve preached our last message, taught our last Sunday School lesson, sung our last song, handed out our last Gospel tract, and prayed our last prayer. Don’t lose sight of eternity. Every labor, sacrifice, dollar, and thing we’ve ever done for our Lord is being recorded in glory. Don’t forget that. Keep on doing what you’re doing for the Lord. It’s making a difference. Someone’s watching even when you don’t realize it. It’s worth it even when it doesn’t seem like it. Don’t give up just yet. Keep Pressing On and Finish Well!!!
