1 Peter 2:24 (KJV) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose STRIPES ye were healed.HEALED: Our hurt has no comparison to the hurt, pain, suffering and humiliation that Jesus suffered. The more good he did for others the more he was hated. He was rejected by his own. He was mocked by his own. He was betrayed by his own. He was sacrificed by his own, yet he loved them until the end. Now, if you think you’ve been hurt, then compare your situation with his. I’m sure nothing that has happened to you can compare to his hurt and yet he loved and forgave all they crucified him. So, quit the excuses about church hurt and what others have done to you. Your idea of ‘church hurt’ won’t hold water when you stand before Jesus who was truly physically HURT and spiritually HURT as he tasted death for every person. ALSO THE APOSTLE: 2 Corinthians 11:23 (KJV) Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I [am] more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. They experienced hurt, pain, resentment, rejection, cold, hunger, beatings, prison but did the cry about someone forgetting their birthday, or to call them when they were sick?Christian had better grow up and learn that heaven doesn’t dwell on what you might call: “Church Hurt”
