1 Peter 2:24 (KJV) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.ON THE TREE (Cross): Salvation is by Jesus. Only he could ‘bare’ your sins on the cross. The scriptures are clear: “… his OWN self bare our sins in his OWN body…”It’s by what he did and not by what you can do or desire to do. Your are not a co-savior in your salvation. Your church is not a co-savior in your salvation. There are no co-saviors allowed because it was ONLY Jesus who hung on the cross, who paid your ransom, who bore your sins, who provides redemption, who provides the propitiation, who reconciles you, who justifies you and most of all: Who conquered Death that we might have salvation. Salvation is only provided by the Saviour which excludes all others to include yourself. Now, if you attempt to add to the cross then you declare to the world that the death of Jesus was not sufficient.Romans 5:18 (KJV) Therefore as by the offence of ONE [judgment came] upon ALL men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of ONE [the FREE gift came] upon ALL men unto justification of life.
