Yesterday we were talking about Israel and Hamas and I took the opportunity to give a little Bible lesson about the spirit of Amalek. Amalek was hated by God because of what they did to the children of Israel - They sent men of war after people who couldn't defend themselves (vs 18).....old people, women, babies. Sound familiar? I know end times prophecy. What Israel is going through right now is only a taste of what is coming during the tribulation and my heart aches for them. Praying that this will make some of them stop and think about God and their eternity. Deut. 25:17 Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt; 18 how he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God. 19 Therefore it shall be, when the Lord thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.
