1 Peter 1:25 (KJV) But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.ENDURING: The Word of the Lord never grows old or does it ever become outdated. Every generation wants to update God’s word, modernize Church music, socialize the preacher without realizing these actions desecrate God’s purposes for Church. It’s obvious that most Christians don’t read their Bible and that they don’t understand the God of the scriptures but they do understand the god of this world (II Corinthians 4:4). When you know God, you know how he thinks and what he teaches. When you only know the ‘god’ of this world, you will look like him, dress like him, talk like him, worship like him, sing like him, and desire your church to think like him. God always makes a difference and a division:There is a difference between heaven and hell. There is a difference between God and Devil. There is a difference between Light and Darkness. There is a difference between right and wrong. There is a difference between Angels and devils. There’s a difference between holy and unholy. There’s a difference between a Christian and a worldly, insensitive, uncaring, lazy believer who tells everyone that they are a Christian but they always desire to change God instead of themselves. Now, your generation is no different then any other generation. Either you side with God ( Jesus Christ ) or your side with his adversary ( Satan, the god of this world ).
