Romans 5:18 (KJV) Therefore as by the offence of one [judgment came] upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [the FREE gift came] upon all men unto justification of life.JUSTIFICATION OF LIFE: It’s not a process but an event of God that happens at Salvation. When you have faith in the Gospel. No one can create justification before God or that would make you equal with God. Only the atonement ( shed blood of Jesus) can atone for sin. Sanctification differs in that it’s a process of keeping your life ‘set apart’ from this world. This is why some think works are required for salvation. Works demonstrate your sanctification not justification. When these two are confused it affects your view of salvation. Justification is by one: Jesus => Romans 5:15 (KJV) But not as the offence, so also [is] the FREE gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, [which is] by ONE MAN, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.ONE MAN NOT TWO! When you add yourself into the salvation process then you corrupt the gospel. There will always be ‘one way’ to heaven and it’s only through Jesus and not through my personal goodness or good works: Galatians 2:16 (KJV) Knowing that a man is NOT justified by the works of the law, BUT by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified BY the faith of Christ, and NOT by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall NO flesh be justified.
