1 John 3:5 (KJV) And ye know that he was manifested to TAKE AWAY our sins; and in him is no sin.TAKE AWAY: God can remove the burden of Sin but you must understand only he can remove it. Why try to carry your burden of Sin?The guilt of sin should only be a reminder of your foolishness but not a burden to carry. Sinfulness will always be a heavy weight to carry. No matter how strong you think you are, you can’t carry it. How to rid yourself of sin: Confess to God and ask for forgiveness. Then if your sin involved others, then seek restoration - restitution. This is where most fail. Sin almost always involves others. If you stole from someone, replace it. If you lied about something, then tell the truth. If you hurt others then ask them for your forgiveness. This use to be understood but people prefer to carry guilt and stubbornness and then wonder why they are miserable. SERVANTS: Romans 6:16 (KJV) Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?Now, are you a still a servant to your sin?
