OLDEST TREES The oldest living trees in the world are the bristlecone pines of the desert mountains in California and Nevada, which are believed to be around 4,800 years old. That's very old, of course, but why can’t someone find an older tree, if the earth is over four BILLION years old? Could it be because the Genesis flood washed out all the trees less than 5,000 years ago? Hmmm?
