The Fight No One WantsJeremiah 21:5 - And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath.This is a battle I would not want to enter.It is tough to do battle at allIt is heartbreaking to battle with someone you loveIt is devastating to battle an enemyIt is terrifying to battle an opponent that is stronger than youTo have to fight God, this is the battle no man would want and no man can win. But here it is, God says to these Jews, He Himself would fight against them. The Bible says of the unsaved person that he is at enmity with God. He is literally in a battle in which God fights against him.But it doesn’t have to be so. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life." God’s love compelled Him to provide a Saviour from this battle for anyone who would by faith come to Him.
