41 posts in the last minute... How long will you scroll in the feed? Seeing 5 minute old posts means having to scroll through 160 - 200 posts. Seeing something 30 minutes old, means you'll have to scroll through at least 750-1250 posts. Will you really scroll that long? Highly doubtful. Do you see why we need a "Friends / Followers Only Feed" yet? In the open feed, nothing gets seen. Influencers will not join because of this meaning Wimkin will not grow. On top of these negatives, an Open Feed is incredibly heavy on infrastructure & resources meaning huge costs, platform lags and roughly $11,000.00 extra per month cost for us to run the platform, literally for something that actually hurts us badly. Come 10/1/23, all users that want to see all posts from all users will have to subscribe to such.
