Sin only provides fake happiness. It's always temporary, or as Hebrews 11:25 tells us, "the pleasures of sin for a season." Fake happiness is never satisfied; it always lusts for more. In time, the broken promises of happiness through sin leave us empty, lonely, and depressed; ultimately, it leads us to eternal misery.
