The Gospel is Simple:1). The Saviour, Jesus Christ, is the one who saves. You are not a co-Saviour. 2). The sacrificial death of Jesus is the only work from God that can save/atone for your soul. It’s the BLOOD that saves and for anyone to equate their works with the blood is blasphemous. ** Colossians 1:14 (KJV) In whom we have redemption THROUGH his blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins:** Colossians 1:20 (KJV) And, having made PEACE through the BLOOD of his cross, BY HIM to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, [I say], whether [they be] things in earth, or things in heaven.3). The Devil loves to distract your eyes from the Lamb of God to ‘yourself’. The devil does this by focusing on your insecurities (works) instead of you being secure in Christ’s work at Calvary. WREST - 2 Peter 3:16 (KJV) As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are UNLEARNED and unstable WREST, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
