1 John 3:18 (KJV) My little children, let us NOT love in word, neither in tongue; but in DEED and in truth.DEEDS: Anyone can voice with words that they ‘love’, but it’s always actions/deeds that define your love. IN TRUTH: Love is always ‘in truth’, not something filled with lies and deceits. If you love God, don’t lie and say, ‘I love you’ but then never go to church, never sing praises, and never worship. When you love only in word then your words are of no value. Your life will be a reflection of your empty words. It’s your deeds that demonstrate that you actually love and know HOW to love. Now, it’s Sunday morning. Don’t tell me you love God but you will spend the day watching TV or working in the yard, with God or church never even crossing your mind. There’s coming a day when you will need God and it will appear that your prayers are going unanswered. Don’t be surprised if God says: “I Love You Too”.
