HERE IS ANOTHER OF OUR FINE NCOS: I started in 1987 in the national guard as a 94-b food specialist I did that for a year then when I finished high school I went regular army and switched to 54-b nuclear biological chemical warfare specialist I was in the 7 the chemical corp out of Ft Lee where I went from unit to unit to check combat readiness of chemical gear and went to some bases to check storage areas for containment issues I did that for 8 years I then changed to 11-B infantry where I ended up in Germany in Coleman concern with the NATO unit A.M.F.L. unit 29930 we trained with other NATO units in 17 country's I was deployed to 2 wars Kosovo 11 months and Bosina 1 month where I was blown up by a S-mine my best friend died iny arms and I took shrapnel in my right leg I spent the next 9 months in landstuhl hospital going through sugerys and learning how to walk again in total I was in 23 firefights my job with NATO was setting up forward command tac and pulling security for it and doing various ops when needed I spent a total of 13 years in and now have PTSD from the war I made E-5 two times I took a reduction in rank to go to infantry School
