Prov. 27:17: "As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend" We become like the people we hang around with. Just look at the influence of gangs to prove this truth. People who tell me they don't need the church but are Christians are telling me they will not be like other believers but will be influenced by the worldly people they are around more than fellow believers. So we need to be around Godly people who will influence us in the right way because of our interaction with them. Iron sharpens other iron. It would be best to rub shoulders with people who can sharpen you in discipleship, support, or social interaction. If I wanted to grow in Christ so God could use me, you couldn’t keep me away from spirit-filled people who would enhance my life by being around them. So find some people who will sharpen your walk with the Lord and who you can help so that you both grow together in Christ. --- Dan Nelson
