It is a beacon of hope in the gloom of despair. It is a place of compassion, understanding, mercy, healing, and help. It is the personification of Jesus Christ.At least that’s the general idea. It is also a motley bunch of imperfect believers at various stages in their spiritual journey, all of whom need patience and need to lavish patience on one another. Someone opined that church is a reflection of you, which is certainly true in a sense, and correcting the flaws in our churches might begin with ourselves.On Sunday 89% of all church goers will worship in a small church where the shepherd, and the regulars, know you by name.
