We had someone complain that they were shocked at the markup on the American Toothbrush Company Toothbrushes. I was thinking others may be thinking the same thing!? I don't want anyone thinking we're taking advantage of them, so I thought I'd show a breakdown of the costs of shipping and selling on ebay.This is Ebays estimate on shipping cost. From experience it cost 3.75 - 4.31 to ship one toothbrush depending on location. The estimate never shows the discount ebay gives to sellers. I am a little leary about the USPS switch to Ground Advantage because the amount in the estimated range isn't usually so wide as it is since they've switched, so I am wondering if they will charge more for shipping to the islands. We could throw it in an envelope and ship it a lot cheaper, but Ebay frowns on that because there's no tracking number so we would lose our seller status and sell even less and they'd raise our fees due to seller status being lowered. This is the fees and other costs associated with selling one toothbrush on ebay.
