To desire to live under the Law means you refuse to live under the Spirit of Life, which comes through faith and not the law. Ephesians 2:15 (KJV) Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, [even] the law of commandments [contained] in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, [so] making peace;ABOLISHED: The law of sin and death (Rom 8:2) was abolished at the cross when the body of Jesus atoned for the sin of mankind. We now have something NEW that replaces the OLD. GLORY!The Law of Moses could only lead you to Christ and nothing more. If obedience to the law could get you to heaven there would be no need for Christ to come to this world and die. So, for salvation, it’s found in faith not the law. Now, after salvation, the law shows us how to live a righteous life but it can’t create righteousness.
