Tornado Warning issued August 22 at 2:51PM CDT until August 22 at 3:00PM CDT by NWS Corpus Christi TXCounties: Live Oak, TX; McMullen, TX...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 PM CDT FOR SOUTHEASTERN MCMULLEN AND SOUTHWESTERN LIVE OAK COUNTIES...At 250 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Clegg, or 16 miles southwest of George West, moving west at 50 mph.HAZARD...Tornado.SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern McMullen and southwestern Live Oak Counties.This includes US Highway 59 between mile markers 736 and 740.PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...TAKE COVER NOW!
