Good Morning All. On Saturday, 8/12/23, tragedy struck the Pittsburgh area and personally affected the Wimkin team. Saturday morning, a residential explosion occurred in Plum Borough, PA, a suburb of Pittsburgh. The explosion essentially obliterated the home where it is believed the source came from, and fully destroyed two neighboring homes, and has left a total of twleve homes non-inhabitable. Unfortunately, as it stands now, 5 people have lost their lives, including a twelve year old and his father that one of the Wimkin team knew so well. Our Alexandria Paradise was a school nurse for the Plum Borough School District for nine years. Over the years, she nursed little Keegan (pictured below with his father Casey) back to health, and got to know his parents, Casey and Jen Klontz very well. Casey and Keegan left Jen this fateful morning and simply walked over to visit with their neighbors (which they did frequently) on weekends when this tragedy occurred. Jen will never see her husband and son again. They both were killed in the explosion. We would like to use the power of Wimkin and our people to provide at least something for Jen Klontz and the families affected. Obviously, nothing in this situation can bring them back or provide real comfort to Jen or the families, but maybe our acts of kindness can bring warmth and healing and lift their spirits by showing good people care. We have set up a donation page to provide some relief for Jen and the families affected by this tragedy. If you are able, please consider donating. Any little bit, I'm sure, will go a very long way. https://wimkinhelp.com/plum-explosion/ols/products/donations-for-victims-of-the-81223-plum-explosionThe link to donate is above. We greatly appreciate you all. Let's show the world what Conservatives are capable of by showing some love to these families. Thank you so much!
