So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar and go. If we have a problem or grievance with a friend, we should resolve the problem as soon as possible. We are hypocrites if we claim to love God while we hate others. Teach me to relinquish this grudge or grievance. As You press earthly reconciliation rather than seeking Your forgiveness, lead me to seek first to be reconciled to my neighbor before I come to worship. Help me to remember that we could not be forgiven if we are not forgiving. May I be humble to let go and resolve conflict with forgiveness, compromise and peace loving friendship.
