Philippians 3:9 (KJV) And be found in him, NOT having mine OWN righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God BY faith:“MINE OWN” OR “WHICH IS OF GOD BY FAITH”: Your own righteousness, which is by obedience to the law, is NOT of faith. If you believe your salvation is through your ‘own’ righteousness (keeping the law), then you are guilty of self-righteousness which is a sin that will keep you out of heaven.
