Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God. I will exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth” A Christian running around like a chicken with their head cut is not a model of peace and calm that God can give. When things seem to be falling apart, and we are uncertain, we must pause and understand who is in charge of our lives and who orders the laws of the universe. We get in trouble when we get our eyes off God and on look at ourselves and our problems or circumstances. God says I will be exalted, which can ring true every time in our lives as we seek things from God’s perspective. If I am fearful and anxious and seem to be coming apart, it is a symptom of my not spending enough time with God, understanding His promises, and trusting Him always to do right in our lives. It’s a reset button in our lives so we have God’s vision for our lives and His perspective in every situation. That is God’s intention, and it should be our way of life. --- Dan Nelson
