I wish we still had these machines. That was true recycling. Get a soda in a glass bottle out of a soda machine. Drink it. Turn the bottle in to the store for a 5 cent deposit refund. The bottle was returned to the bottler, cleaned, sterilized, refilled with soda and sent back to the store for sale. So much better then the plastic crap that is destroying the environment now. And the soda tasted better too.
