"Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls." (1 Peter 1:8-9)We haven't seen the glorified Jesus yet, but we have believed what His Word declares about Him, and so believing, we love Him.He is indeed the only begotten Son of God Who was declared, exalted, and glorified from everlasting. He is the voluntary Saviour of poor lost sinners, who became incarnate, suffered, bled, died and rose from the dead for them.We love His adorable person. His countenance is majesty. His heart is love. His hand is omnipotence. His eye is ever watching. He deals in compassion. His presence is Heaven to behold, for He is God with skin on His face!We love His once for all eternal salvation in its freeness and fulness. We love His delightful promises, which anticipates our wants, meets all our needs, and fills our souls with peace and unspeakable joy.We love His Throne where He urges us come boldly to. He meets us there and listens to our requests and always blesses and instructs us with the will of God for our life. We love His holy precepts which exhibits His authority, displays His love, and calls us to holiness.We love His Heaven-born family on Earth who continually grow in grace and who bare His likeness and resemble the children of the King of kings and Lord of lords!Friends, oh to love Him more! To love Him with all our hearts, minds, souls and strength! Let us declare our love to Him by a godly life which produces holy actions! Yes, He is indeed precious to those who believe. For His name is Wonderful.
