This boy was adopted recently. He was a horse that came to the rescue with elf (ski) hooves. An elf (ski) hoof is a neglected hoof that had grown long and the tips of the hooves curl upward like an elf shoe or ski. This caused him to founder. The farrier that came out to do the rescue's horse, trimmed this boy as well. After this boy's trim, he felt so good, he felt he needed to run a bit. He was a bit ouchy this morning. The new owner ordered some shoes and they are on backorder at the moment.
