ROCKOLLECTIONS: 4TH OF JULY PT.1 Well the 4th Of July is falling on the day of the Terrestrial Show this year. Incidentally, if you ever wondered, July 4th, 1776 was a Thursday. I'll start with a cut that is not easy to find by the quintessential American Group. Then because it is the day my Rockollections Radio Show is broadcast, I thought I'd play something special, something I've never played before. Stan Freberg Presents The United States Of America, Vol. 1, The Early Years! In the 50's, Stan had taken on Popular Music and Rock & Roll. I am a huge fan of his, and this album was released in 1961. Let's listen and celebrate that 247 years ago my favorite document of all time, the Declaration Of Independence, was given to us!
