57-year-old Dale Thornton was fatally shot outside Howard Industries in Laurel, MS.
Keith Hinton, 20, was arrested but bonded out hours later.
Reports provide few details regarding events leading up to the crime. It was noted, however, that Thornton was reputed to be a kind individual. He died about six weeks after the shooting.
