1 Samuel 8:3 (KJV) And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after LUCRE, and took bribes, and perverted judgment.
LUCRE: It is used in six verses in the Bible.
First mention of LUCRE had to do with bribes and perverting judgment.
The last usage is a warning for the pastor/preacher and not to preach for the dollar.
1 Peter 5:2 (KJV) Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight [thereof], not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
I don’t care what denomination or who the preacher is, but it is obvious who is preaching a prosperity gospel and why they fleece the flock.
Now, if you are guilty is sending money to a prosperity preacher, then you have become part of their sin and God will judge you with the same judgment he judges them.
Judas is not rule but the exception to the rule: He was only one of the twelve that allow $$s to corrupt him.
So, don’t blame all the preachers/pastors but when one is obvious with his outlandish life style then call it like it is: A preacher preaching for Filthy Lucre!
