May the LORD, the God of the spirits of all mankind, appoint a man over this community to go out and come in before them, one who will lead them out and bring them in, so the LORD's people will not be like sheep without a shepherd.—Numbers 27:16-17
My Prayer...
O Father, please forgive us for choosing leaders for the wrong reasons and for selecting those to lead us who have bad character but are successful in other places. Please raise up leaders at every level of our Christian communities and churches with integrity of character and a deep concern for people. We pray this together, in the name of the Savior, Jesus. Amen.
