When both lose their ‘fear’ of God you will see a people that justifies sin instead repenting of sins. Once excuses take over a people then there is nothing that will stop them from continuing in their downward spiral since fear is no longer a factor. They will appear religious, but they will only have a form of godliness:2 Timothy 3:5 (KJV) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
