Yesterday, a group of mothers went to the Volusia County board of education meeting to voice our opposition to an *indefinite* mask mandate for all children in V.C. schools. They first "allowed" us to enter without masks, but then changed their minds. They spent 1.5 hours telling us we had to leave and threatening to have us trespassed. (Usually arrest follows trespass.). They brought in the paddy wagon and at least 8 officers.Mind you, volusia county does NOT have a mask mandate, and we were in Volusia County property. Under FL executive order 20-244, the governor said he would not be having law enforcement issue any fines, citations or penalties for not wearing a mask in public. We were in a public place. 8 mothers were ultimately trespassed and dragged out of the board meeting. Videos of the entire event can be seen on my personal page.
