When we pray we should be expecting God to answer but keep in mind what we pray for isn’t always what God knows is best for us. Don’t just be looking for God to answer the way you thought He should but be ready to walk through a door that you didn’t expect God to open for you.
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.
“And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so my ways are higher than your ways
and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
