Jude 1:23 (KJV) And others save with fear, pulling [them] out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.PREACHING: It’s the most difficult profession in the world, why?1. It’s dangerous - there are areas in this world that Hate The Gospel of Jesus Christ.2. It’s a thankless profession: No one needs the preacher until they are sick or need something from the church/ preacher. 3. It’s a poor profession since the average Christian never tithes. 4. It’s a mocked profession since people and Christians are so ‘thin skinned’. Christians who are told no, jump to another church. Sinners who hear preaching on sin won’t return since they are easily offended. 5. It’s a hated profession since some in each generation are ‘self-willed’ and hate for anyone to tell them what to do in life. 6. It’s the most difficult since it’s the only profession that the Devil has to worry about concerning stopping his forces of Evil. My employer is God and not the church. My sustainer is God and not the church members. My help comes from heaven since many times the Church doesn’t understand how to help their pastor/preacher. Therefore, my task in life, whether others like me or not, thank me or not, help me or not, mock me, laugh at me, criticize me, or even forget me, is to attempt to pull you out of the fires of hell before it’s too late!My reward here on earth will be insignificant but in heaven it will be worth it all.
