Yes, you will have daily battles with the flesh. The Bible calls your flesh the ‘old man’. (Ephesians 4:22). Yes, you will face daily battles, but if you are saved, God had given you a ‘new man’ (Ephesians 4:24). Yes, you must make Dailey choices to either do right and walk in the spirit or to do wrong and walk in the flesh. These battles either strengthen you or weaken you. This is why I need the Saviour, because without him, I have no salvation from sin or salvation from my troubles. God can deliver you from hell (salvation of the soul) and God can deliver you from temptations (salvation from troubles) but in both situations, he has the role of Saviour and without his help there is no salvation.
