1 Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:PRECIOUS BLOOD: There is nothing more precious than the blood of Jesus that was shed for you at Calvary. Today, it become the common to omit any references to ‘his’ shed blood and only to teach about his love. His love is always in the context of his death, shed blood, burial and resurrection. Without these you have no understanding of his love. Some still call this type of preaching ‘slaughter house religion’. Well, you can call it that but God calls it doctrinal and scriptural. The basis of the gospel is the death, burial, and the resurrection and to have death you have to have the shedding of blood. Christ could not have been hang (rope) on the gallows or drowned since no blood would have been shed. Now, where’s your faith? Is in false religions that are Bloodless? If your preacher never preaches on the blood then is he a God called preacher or just a pretender?My preaching will magnify the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ who become the sacrificial lamb of God for me and for you.
