"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:14)How refreshing it is to drink from the well of Christ's Pure Water. Nothing can compare with how it satisfies the thirst of our souls and yet at the same time, spoils the taste for sin.The woman who met Christ that one fine day, certainly realized that when deep in the throes of her sin we hear her cry, "Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not." (v.15) Oh, the many souls who call out those same words today. You know, each of us have witnessed to folks, who are just meandering along thru life every day, and who are looking and longing for that drink of deliverance. All around us, untold numbers are trying to live a life apart from Christ. And just like the case of this dear woman here, that's like trying to drink water from a leaky bucket! Oh, for that drink from Christ's "well of water springing up into everlasting life."Friends, our message today is the same message that Jesus voiced back then, "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst." While we travel along thru this dry and thirsty land of the lost, may we be those Ladles in the Hand of the Lord who draw that Living Water from God's Well and freely offer it to every thirsty soul we witness to.
