ROCKOLLECTIONS: MEMORIAL DAY PT.2 The Memorial Day Remembrance concludes but in my heart continues the other 364 days. This time, I'll open with a song about a guy who, I hate to say it, would have made it easier on his family and himself if he had not come home from war overseas. The song contains probably the most powerful metaphor I have ever heard! Included in this closing Chapter, the story of a tune I heard in church being played by the organist- and I couldn't quite understand why. It called for some Musical Detective Work, and I'll re-create it for you. To close, what the World needs is what Each of us needs. Memorial Day is much much more than the unofficial start of Summer.
