Ps.8:1, 4 O Lord, our Lord how excellent is Your name in all the earth…What is man that You are mindful of him? And the son of man that You visit him? All creation is proof of God’s handiwork. The universe's creative design and life-sustaining order speak to us not being here by accident or chance. Yet, this God that in many ways is beyond our comprehension is mindful of us & visited mankind in the ultimate visible expression of Himself in Christ. It baffles David or whoever wrote this that God would even think of His creation. The fact though is evidenced by what Christ has done for us, making it possible to know God & live with Him forever. God is ever mindful of us even when it seems like He is far away. Ultimately His way will triumph. Our option is: Do we want to be on the winning or losing side? “We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Rom. 8:36. Evil & the world’s sorrows will be overcome & it begins by faith in all that God is & His salvation offered in Christ I John 5:4-5. --- Dan Nelson
