1 Thessalonians 4:7 (KJV) For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.HOLINESS: Is not what the average Christian thinks. Holiness is your relationship with God in accordance to his laws and not those of man. Holiness is also your relationship with others as you display God’s laws of righteousness to others. Righteousness, as defined by God, boils down to what he says is right and that usually contradicts what man thinks, writes, or vocalizes. Therefore, its God’s righteousness that binds Love with God’s holiness. The two can never be separated. If any attempt to separate the two then they pervert God’s love which also corrupts God’s Holiness leaving us with neither.
