Larry King, who was an up and coming Black Republican would provide the children from the Boys Town orphanage in Omaha, Nebraska. He had them flown into Washington under the guise of a special DC trip for the kids. George Bush Sr, Dick Cheney, and White House Chief of Staff-John Sununu-would stand in a line to greet the children and their caretakers, as they came to the Vice President’s Home and the White House for their “specially invited tour”.
