What do you do when you've said all the words you know to say, shared the gospel as plainly as you can, and still your friend or loved one is unconvinced that they need Jesus? It's a heartbreaking place to be. You wrestle with the doubts, "Did I say the right thing? Did I come across too strong? Too weak? Maybe I should have said it differently...."My friend, leave it in the hands of Jesus. We can't save people. It's our job to speak the truth; it's the Holy Spirit's job to work in hearts. When you've said all the words you know to say, simply shine your light. Be a friend, offer help when needed, and keep praying.Over the years, I've noticed something:If you keep shining for Jesus, people will come back to the light when the storms of life hit.Your friend will one day be close to sinking. The winds will be raging and the waves crashing over their lives. And if you're still shining, they'll come to you for help. You don't have to keep "blowing your horn" to let them see Jesus. You just having to keep shining your light toward Him."Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
