"...who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;" (I Timothy 6:17c)Are you enjoying those great riches that our Saviour lovingly pours out as He awakens you with the dawning of each new morning? You and I, who are indeed His marvelous works of grace, and yet we are standing in need moment by moment with our empty vessels. Buy we can rest assured, whether it be by day or by night, that we shall be filled to the brim by the Hand of our Great Benefactor.The Son of God, with His warming glow, shines brighter for us than the very sun He created. His Heavenly Food, unlike that manna of old, will ALWAYS be provided day by day in His Word and doing what it does best by strengthening us wherever we may be camped.He is our Rock; the Rock that delights in offering abundant life from the wounds of His smitten side. As the King of Kings, He will never die and His reign of mercy to His children shall likewise never cease.Who would dare say, when they boldly entered in through the Door and into the joy of His Presence by prayer, that they were not treated like His beloved friends? Who has ever risen from His table of nourishment and not feasted on such a banquet that was and is so vital for their life and growth?Who can number His daily benefits? They are as countless as the sands of every seashore. Even the stars, which are too numerous to mention, pale in comparison when standing along side his infinite blessings.Then WHY, why do we stand here all the day idle at this eleventh hour in our own little selfish vineyards without a word of praise and thanksgiving to the One who has lavished us with such undeserved treasures throughout the years?Friends, when will we realize that this old world's only offering is one of poverty? May we rise from our prayers, and go forth with rejoicing over one of Heaven's Grandest Truths concerning our Lord's gracious deeds, "...who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;"
