Prov. 11:6 “The righteousness of the upright will deliver them, but the unfaithful will be caught by the lust.” Doing what is right and walking with integrity will always be best. God will deliver you in trouble if you will stick to His word and walk in purity before Him. People will respect you and be faithful to relationships and to God and His word which will pay rich dividends. The unfaithful’ s life will be exposed. If not in this life it will be in the next. Ask David how it worked out when he tried to hide his sin with Bathsheba. Today society is not as tough on people who are unfaithful to their spouse or family. That does not change the effect of unfaithfulness on people. It is a universal axiom and not just what people think is acceptable: Lust leads to sin and sin leads to death, according to James 1:15. Lust will turn into a flesh-eating virus. It will destroy you more than anyone else. May we see the value of honesty and integrity as opposed to trying to cover up sin and live like everything is all right. --- Dan Nelson
