In America under the guise of liberalism, Jimmy Carter handed "them" public education when he created the Department of Education in 1979. Taking it out of the states hands. Now progressives use public schools to indoctrinate our youth with Common Core teaching materials & perverted sex education. (Or they are refused federal funding.)
