Tornado Warning issued April 20 at 3:19PM CDT until April 20 at 3:45PM CDT by NWS Quad Cities IA ILCounties: McDonough, IL...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM CDT FOR SOUTHEASTERN MCDONOUGH COUNTY...At 318 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Industry, or 12 miles southeast of Macomb, moving northeast at 40 mph.HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.Locations impacted include... Industry and Doddsville.PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows.
